Technical Guide

These races are official track events sanctioned by the ABA.

Registration fees are $50 CAD. ($60 CAD after June 23)

All racers must hold valid ABA/UCI licenses OR purchase a Single Event License at an additional cost of $10 CAD.

Friday, June 28 - Madison Clinic

From 18:00 - 20:00 on Friday night we’ll be hosting a madison clinic to help teams get comfortable with their partners for Saturday’s racing.

Even if you’re not racing the madison events, you are welcome to join us on the track.

There will be a podium celebration at the end of each day for each ability group.

Prizing will be determined after registration closes.

Podium protocols will be in effect.

Ability Levels

There will be three ability levels:

A Category - Men Road Cat 1/2/3
B Category - Men Road Cat 4, Women Road Cat 1/2/3
C Category - Men Road Cat 5, Women Road Cat 3/4/5, Citizens

Choose your level accordingly and consider basing it on your experiences at Track League, etc.

Number Placement

If you have already received your 2019 ABA numbers, please wear them for this race. If this is your first ABA race, you will be assigned your race numbers at sign-in. The Frame plate is NOT required for this race.

$10 Fine - Failure To Use Already Assigned Road Body Numbers

A gentle reminder that failing to bring your personal race numbers will cost you a $10 replacement cost. Please ensure that you have your numbers well before your start time.

Please Note: Madison Cup entrants will be assigned numbers.

Rain Action Plan

On the day before the events, if Environment Canada forecast shows an 80% or greater chance of rain for event day, the race will be cancelled. There is no provisional day in the event of a rain-out.

A cancellation notice will be emailed to all registrants, and posted on social media.

ABA/CC/UCI Regulations

This event will be run in accordance to ABA/CCC/UCI Cycling regulations. Riders are responsible for knowing and understanding these regulations.

Rider Conduct

Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated, including but not limited to public urination, littering, use of profane language and verbal abuse of officials.

Anti-Doping Compliance

The ABA complies with and fully supports the UCI anti-doping regulations, the clauses of the World Anti-Doping Code and its international standards to which the UCI anti-doping regulations refer and to the anti-doping regulations of other competent bodies as per the regulations of the UCI.
